1. Goodbye Leviticus: Be-har and Be-hukkotai

I’m looking at a wall and it’s not the kotel.  That would be inspirational.  I’ve been slogging last week’s portion around in my soupy brain for over a week and nothing is coming out the other side.  It’s all just draining down and washing into the big bad sea, diluted beyond recognition.  I’ve got nothing this week.  Nothing.  And I’m throwing in the towel so that this week doesn’t turn into a drain on all future weeks.  Maybe this is the seventh something and my brain must lie fallow until Numbers kicks in.  So I’m movin’ on…bye Leviticus and all of your rules.  See you next year.

I’m going to go outside and garden.
