Gone but never forgotten
Happy Mother’s Day to Mom and Carol Lee, my two greatest teachers. If I am a good mother it is because of the two of you. When I’m not a good mother it’s because I didn’t learn well enough the lessons that you taught me. I cherish the time we had together and my family is blessed because of it. You taught me not only how to parent, but more importantly, how to love. Best mother, best sister, best friends….I love you.
Pauline,
She was such a dear friend, rooting me on when I was racing and helping always with air tickets for the PPG Indy Car Events! She always had a kind or fun something to share. I miss her!
Thanks Janey. Mom was pretty amazing. Happy Birthday Mom! (it was yesterday)
Hi Leslie,
I’m a neighbor of your mother-in-law in Lake Wildwood. She speaks very highly of you and I’m happy to “meet” you! My mother died of Alzheimer’s disease two years ago, too. It has taken me this long to begin my blog on my experiences with her during that time and reading your posts on Alzheimer’s brought back so many memories. Thanks for sharing them. If you’re interested, visit my blog at http://www.forgetmenot11.wordpress.com. I’d appreciate any feedback.

Hi Barbara….thanks for the note. I hope you find some comfort in your memories. Sometimes it’s nice to just close your eyes and be there. I’ll have a look at your blog. Good luck with your writing.
